Our SM Methodology courses break down what it means to be a stage manager in a specific area of live entertainment, from Broadway to Cirque du Soleil, and from corporate events to Illusion shows. Each course delves into differences in structure and operations as well as requirements to work in the field and inside knowledge of the field itself.

Allison Lowe has been a professional stage manager for over 12 years. She began her career in Stage Management as an Assistant Stage Manager for Celine Dion’s A New Day in 2004 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV. In 2005, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Masters of Fine Arts in Stage Management, and stayed with A New Day until its closing in 2007. From there, she worked as a Stage Manager for Le Reve –The Dream at Wynn Las Vegas for a year before going on an opera tour in Italy during the summer of 2009. Upon returning to the States, she joined the national tour of Walking with Dinosaurs –the Arena Spectacular and stayed with them until the show closed in September of 2010. In February of 2011, she moved back to Las Vegas to be the Assistant Stage Manager of Cirque du Soleil’s The Beatles’ LOVE, where she is now currently the Stage Manager. In her personal life, she is a rabid hockey fan, a fiancée, and a mother to a beautiful one-year old girl.
